This Spring, Jessie participated in a special charity project for Elle Magazine along with seven other designers, creating a one-of-a kind solar-powered hand bag. Each bag features a flexible solar panel, an HBLED light, a rechargeable battery pack, and a USB port that can actually keep your cell phone charged. The bags were produced in a collaboration with Portable Light Project, a non-profit initiative that provides solar textile kits to empower those who do not have access to electricity. All eight bags are up for auction right now, with all of the proceeds going to the Portable Light Project.
