Style Me Pretty Wedding Inspirations

Category: Bridal, Inspiration, LR Loves, News, Press

If there's one thing we know here at Loeffler Randall it's this: the love is in the details. Which is why we fell head over heels with Style Me Pretty's founder and cheif editor: Abby Larson, who admitted, "I spend my days scouring the internet for beautiful things, walking the streets waiting to be inspired, roaming the aisles of my favorite little bookshop...all day, dreaming about weddings."

Much like Loeffler Randall's own design process, Style Me Pretty breathes character and personal charm into their work, and with that we are excited to share with you Abby's Wedding Inspirations featuring Loeffler Randall's Fall 2011 Bridal Collection below.

WEDDING INSPIRATIONS By Abby Larson

You know, it's funny. Whenever we feature a picture perfect wedding on Style Me Pretty, the shoes... without a doubt... get the most amount of comments. Maybe it's a girl thing, maybe it's a bride thing. Maybe it's simply that when it comes to wedding day style, the stilettos are becoming JUST as important as the gown. They are the one piece that can bring a bit of sparkle or edge or whimsy to an otherwise traditional look, giving the bride a perfect way to infuse a bit of her personality or her spunk into the style. Ask any wedding stylist... the shoes are big. Huge.

This is why when the fab girls at Loeffler Randall asked me to create a few of my favorite looks based around a particular shoe from their new bridal collection, I jumped. One look at these beauts and I knew EXACTLY the looks that I wanted to design. The first is based on the Zuri stiletto in platinum.  This glittery little number brings together a classic, refined style with a heel that is ALL glam.

What I love the most about this particular look is that the gold becomes the place setting for the entire style. We added a feathery, frilly gown by Vera Wang to add a bit of softness to the shoe, flowers in pops of red, pink and orange and a boy donned in the most classic of bow ties. It's tradition with a twist which is bar none the most popular style for the SMP bride.

Up next we used the drool-inducing Zuri rosette stiletto in blush as our inspiration point and frankly, the wedding style just came pouring out. An uber chic, Parisian couture look was the perfect compliment to the stem. A gown by Temperly of London, a white on white cake by our favorite patisserie Sweet & Saucy, touches of gold and blushy pinks... understated elegance with little hints of full-on glam. For us, this look is the definition of romance and style.

So there you have it, two perfect shoes, two perfect bridal styles. We always say that inspiration can come from just about anywhere... a vintage bottle of perfume, a painting, an old sweater... or the most gorgeous pair of stilettos a girl has ever seen. Thanks so much Loeffler Randall for having us here today! We heart you. Big Time.
