We were delighted to partner with M.Patmos to style five looks for fall using the classic Loeffler Randall Matilde boot. Below, you'll find photos from our shoot and a Q&A with Marcia Patmos, designer behind M.Patmos, winner of the 2011 Ecco Domani prize and longtime Matilde devotee.

What's inspiring you right now?
Marcia Patmos: I just bought a book on Louise Bourgeois called "The Fabric Works"
What are you looking forward to this winter?
MP: Making roasted vegetables like squash and brussel sprouts from the farmers market. Spending Christmas with my family in upstate NY.
Your winter essentials:
MP: Easy layers - lightweight skinny ones under chunkier or looser ones. Scarves - I wear them everyday, for warmth as well as color.
How do the collections complement each other?
MP: Loeffler Randall's Matilde boot is my favorite! The leather colors are so rich and compliment all of my knit colors so well. The smooth sheen of leather contrasts very nicely with the texture of sweaters. The boot shape is classic but with its own fresh take on a riding boot. It never goes out of style. I still have a black Matilde from years ago and after yesterday's shoot, I think I need to buy a new color, either chestnut or elephant.
What do you love about your studio neighborhood?
MP: I love how open it is, and the High Line. I love being able to walk outside, choose to take a stroll to the West Village or Chelsea for lunch or coffee. There is a constant array of new stores opening, so it is always good to take a quick peek during the day. For a rare day when I have a moment and need a creative boost, the Chelsea art galleries are only a 10 minute walk.
Where is your collection sold?
MP: High-end boutiques and specialty stores like Barneys New York (all doors), Kirna Zabete (New York), Bird (Brooklyn), Perchance Boutique (Chicago), Julianne (Port Washington) and our online store, of course - http://mpatmos.com
